As a tattoo artist and bodyworker, I am passionate about offering creative healing experiences that honor the body, story, and whole self.

My journey began in the arts. After completing a BA in Digital Art in 2008 at ASU, I pursued creative work behind the screen — designing, editing, and exploring visual expression. But over time, I began to feel the disconnect: I was craving something more embodied, relational, and creatively challenging. At the time, I was also working as an insurance underwriter, witnessing how often the medical system fell short. I saw people prescribed medications or cortisone shots as temporary fixes, while the root of their pain — physical and emotional — went unaddressed. That experience lit a fire in me. I knew I wanted to be part of something more integrative — a path that honored the whole person, offered results, and supported true healing. That’s when I stepped into the world of holistic healing arts — combining my creative background with body-based modalities that bring people home to themselves. I studied massage therapy at East West College of Healing Arts in Portland, where my passion for dance deepened into a love of anatomy and movement. There is always more to understand about the body, and I continue to deepen my knowledge through focused training in Thai bodywork, Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage, intra-oral jaw massage, structural integration, and related modalities. I also completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training with the Lotus Seed School of Yoga to better support the movement needs of each client. I now offer massage therapy rooted in holistic care — weaving together deep tissue techniques, Thai massage, structural bodywork, Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage, intra-oral jaw massage, and holistic pelvic care to support the body’s natural ability to heal, to support nervous system, offer pain relief, and support balanced movement. Every session is a co-creative experience — guided by intuition, technique, and deep listening. In parallel, I’ve always been drawn to body adornment as a form of self-expression and ritual. In 2012, I began apprenticing with Melanie Ooi of Blue Lotus Henna, and have remained a passionate student of this art form. In 2020, I traveled with Melanie to India to co-create World of Henna, the first feature-length documentary exploring the traditional use and cultivation of henna. That journey inspired me to take the next step — becoming a licensed tattoo artist and merging my love for ritual design with permanent body art. Today, I offer custom ornamental tattoos inspired by henna, geometry, decorative floral motifs, and global adornment traditions. These pieces are often large-scale and deeply personal — created through a collaborative process and placed with care. To me, ritual isn’t something lofty or esoteric — it’s something human. It's in the way we care for our bodies, the art we choose to wear, and the intention we bring to everyday moments. Whether through massage or tattooing, I’m here to support people in reconnecting with their bodies, marking transitions, and celebrating their stories — in grounded, beautiful, and lasting ways. |
