Thai massage is an ancient form of bodywork and branch of Thai Medicine, a system that was developed alongside Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine. The primary focus of Thai bodywork is to free pathways of movement in the body. When the joints, muscles, tendons, blood vessels, and other structured of the body can move more fluidly there is less pain and greater functionality. We tailor each treatment to meet our clients current wellness goals - from deep relaxation to injury recovery.
Before your session: Please wear comfortable, loose clothing that you are able to move around in easily (i.e. gym or yoga clothing). Soft pants and long sleeve shirts over a tank top are ideal, but whatever you feel most comfortable in. It is also recommended to avoid eating a large meal in the hour or two before your session, if your schedule allows it.
For a full body treatment with a focus area we recommend a 2 hour Thai massage. A shorter full body treatment can be done in a 90 minute treatment. A 60 minute Thai massage is great for a focused treatment or maintenance work.
